Highly Recommended Casa 

Highly recommended casa on one of the most beautiful streets in SMA. We lived in Casa Tres Pajaros for nearly a year in 2019 and early 2020 and really enjoyed this comfortable and bright home. The neighborhood is a nice mix of long-time residents, both local and expatriate. Some of the expatriates have made this part of San Miguel home for decades. Easy walking access to Centro and the Ancha area, and a pleasant rooftop deck with panoramic views of the city. While it was just the two of us, the layout of the home easily accommodates 6 adults in 3 separate bedroom suites. That was nice when our family came to visit. This home stands in welcome contrast to others in SMA in that it is light and bright, owing to the patios and windows.

Adventures in San Miguel

We had a great time at Tres Pajaros for a two and a half week stay. We enjoyed exploring the beautiful city, going on outings, and relaxing in the Jardin and house. The taxis are cheap and convenient but you hardly need them most of the time as SMA is very walkable. Our favorite outing was to the hot spring "Escondido place." For food, we really enjoyed mamma mia (for dinner) and la mesa grande (breakfast). We also had a lot of fun horseback riding at Xotolar ranch. We both wished we could have stayed longer and gotten into the numerous art and yoga classess offered! Thank you, Pam, for creating such a welcoming home in the middle of this beautiful place

Great Long Term Stay

We just returned from a wonderful 4 week stay at Casa Tres Pajoros. The house is very well appointed with everything you need for a long term stay.

It is a beautiful house in fairly close proximity to Centro, either a brisk 10 min walk up hill, or a $50(peso) cab ride. The rooftop patios have great views of the city, perfect for morning tea, lazy afternoons, and evening happy hours. The courtyards were perfect on windy days to get a little shelter. The neighborhood is quiet, there are a couple of small tiendas around the corner for essentials and the fantastic Italian bakery on Stirling Dickenson is only a 15 minute walk away.

For those that need internet access, it was stable and relatively fast (~11Mbit down), only once did I need to reset the modem. Wi-Fi even reaches the roof, which is perfect for getting a little work done and enjoying the view!

Pam, the management and maintenance staff, and our housekeeper were all very helpful, friendly and took care of any issues that arose. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at Casa Tres Pajoros.

Grandma & Grandpa Loved this House!!

My family and I stayed at Casa Tres Pajores last month for nine days. Hands down one of my best vacations I had so far. House was very comfortable as well as spacious. Decorated in a beautifully artistic way and felt warm like home. Neighbors helpful and welcoming. Location was walking distance to the Centro and Mercado. Great restaurants and souvenir shops nearby. After sightseeing all day long it was great to sit in front of the fire place and play cards with grandparents. Unforgettable view of the Church from the 3rd floor terrace. In the evening you can stargaze in one of the armchairs. Pam Juckas, the landlord was very pleasant and easy to communicate with. I highly recommend renting a ATV from the Centro, it was only $20 for an hour. Other places rent it out for way more money, explore around. Taxis everywhere if you don’t want to walk. Three small stores less than 2 blocks from the house open until 11pm. We had a great stay at Casa Tres P. Five people slept very comfortably and had a great time. Thanks Pam!

Thankful Thanksgiving

This is a great reasonable spot in San Miguel. My stay was just over a week but it would be fun to return for a longer period of time.
Walking distance to the fruit and veg market, bus and taxi stands, restaurants, shops and the Jardin. Walkers will find that many attractions are within a reasonable distance.
The house has a lovely local decor with lots of light. I especially enjoyed the roof top patio. It is located on a very quiet street so noise was never an issue. The kitchen was well equipped and appliances worked perfectly. A real gem!

Real Getaway Treat

Me and my family stayed here in December 1-10, 2017. Very nice house with very clean wonderful rooms with lovely roof top view , individully decorated bathrooms , located in the peacful and calm area of San Miguel de Allende. If you like home cooking kitchen is well set. 5/10 minutes walking distance from the downtown famous church, supermarket and flea markets. This is great place to stay and I can't recommend it highly enough!! Everything about our stay was perfect. This was my first stay, but certainly not the last one.

A Perfect New Years 

I stayed at Casa Tres Pajaros with a friend over the Holidays 12/28/17-1/1/2018 and we had a fantastic time. An easy walk to the town center, numerous restaurants, bars, churches and art exhibits. San Mibuel de Allende is a wonderful Mexican town and I will return someday. The folks from the management company were very helpful setting up rides, answering questions, booking trips and shopping for us. We also went horseback riding while there and spent a morning swimming in the hot springs. Stay at this house and enjoy the wonderful and comfortable furnishings. To top it all off there is a fabulous roof deck for that cervesa or two. We enjoyed a fabulous firework show on New Years Eve from the deck.

Weekend Getaway

Our family of 4 stayed at "Casa tres pajaros" this summer. The house is beautiful and comfortable. We were able to prepare meals and enjoy dinner with friends. The house is at a prime location and walking distance to the heart of San Miguel Allende. Public transportation is reliable, and affordable. Many activities are close by, such as hot springs,and cultural events.To anyone that is looking for a fun and relaxed vacation in San Miguel Allende, I highly recommend "Casa tres pajaros" you'll have a wonderful time. Our family is looking forward to going back!!!

Loved Casa de Tres Pajaros!

I was in the "Tres Pájaros" house in November last year and the stay was very pleasant. It's like being in your house but thousands of miles away! Is in a very accessible point, it is only necessary to walk a little to be in the park of the magical town, the days are not enough to stay in San Miguel de Allende, surely you will want to return.

Perfect House for family of 4

"We stayed at Casa Tres Pajaros for 6 months between December 2016 and June 2017. We are a family of four, with kids aged 9 and 11. The house is beautifully designed and well-maintained. There was plenty of space for everyone. The upstairs living room with boveda ceiling, the roof deck, and the kitchen area quickly became our primary hangouts. Pam is a very conscientious and responsive owner. The local home service was also very responsive and friendly. The house is perfectly located on one of the most beautiful blocks in all of San Miguel de Allende. Five minute walk to the San Juan de Dios maket for fresh produce! The neighborhood is friendly and safe. You can walk almost anywhere in town in 15 minutes or less on very safe routes. The outdoor spaces (2 courtyards and expansive roofdeck) are lovely in every season. All of our local friends we made were impressed when they would visit us. It's a great space. We feel lucky to have been able to stay there for so long."

"Beautiful home away from home in San Miguel de Allende. We spent a week in here with our friends. The house is perfectly situated on a quiet neighborhood and is only a few block away from city streets, good restaurants and tourist areas. We walked everywhere. The kitchen is perfectly set up to cook after long days in the city. The rooftop terrace is a lovely place to eat and enjoy the evening and sunrise."

My Two Week Stay

"What a great house! So many nice, thoughtful touches. Very comfortable, wonderful roof and view. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed two weeks there. A ten minute walk to centro and in the neighborhood a convenient tienda and good bakery ( try the empanaditas) two blocks up on the corner. Perfect place for a stay in San Miguel"
